Learning outcomes 

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to identify the basic principles of the judicial system and distinguish ethical principles and statutory norms. Students will be able to apply the essential laws of the field and to consider the ethical questions of the field


The basic principles of the judicial system, the law and ethical principles regarding information and communication, related problems, such as freedom of speech, censorship, and cultural appreciation

Lectures and/or literature. Approximately 20 hours of contact teaching and 115 hours of independent study

Students majoring and minoring in Information Studies

Prerequisites and co-requisites 

Completion of the course Introduction to Information Studies is required.
